Euro-Metall KFT is not an easy act to follow: As specialists in the production of brake shoes, counterbalance weights and base plates, we are, together with EWA Eisenwerk Arnstadt the market leader for these products in Europe in terms of costs, quality, delivery time and service. We are the DIHAG-Group‘s expert partner for rail operations in the markets of central, eastern and south-eastern Europe.

With our abilities and experience, we can offer our customers the best conditions for satisfying their specific requests: Our high standard of quality is achieved at minimum product costs. To us, flexibility vis-à-vis customer requests means guaranteeing short lead times. After all, we possess manufacturing tools for almost all brake block types used in Europe. Customized designs and materials can be realised quickly and reliably.
Collaborative solutions begin much earlier for us, namely, when advising our customers on optimum parts usage. We thus provide the customer with regular recommendations on the use of enhanced parts. We work in close co-operation with the Hungarian national railway company, MAV, to provide vital support in the optimisation of logistic and technical enhancements.

Together we are stronger: The co-ordinated presence of DIHAG‘s three brake shoe foundries across Europe provides optimum market coverage and a rich source of experience for the realisation of brake shoes in almost all countries of Europe. The group also helps us capture new markets and customers for our main products as well as in the production of new part programs.
