Sector Diversity combined with Extreme Flexibility

There are many types of iron: A customer using casings made of nodular graphite cast iron, for instance for the hydraulic drive of a snowcat, expects totally different properties in the castings than somebody manufacturing flake graphite cast iron tool stands or crankcases and gearbox housings for the engineering sector. Strong mechanical and thermal strength due to excellent resistance and ductile properties are important in the former, while high damping and compression strength in relation to the primary structure is vital in the latter.

We deal with these different requirements and challenges every day: We accompany our customer products from the design phase right through to the delivery of ready-to-install parts. Our work begins with complex geometry and continues through casting where we use customized materials depending on the technical and economic requirements. It also extends to the mechanical machining of finished castings. We use a company-wide quality management system to monitor and ensure the consistently high standard of quality of our products. In addition to cost-efficiency and short lead times, we enable customers to access reliable procurement options.

Our main strength is the diversity of sectors in which we operate and our high level of flexibility – as evidenced by our range of customers and products. We supply around 4,000 different products to over 400 customers in the automotive, mechanical and electric engineering, agricultural machinery, pump and gauge sectors. We are highly innovative, producing approximately 700 new types of casting year for year.

We manufacture the smallest products within the DIHAG Group. Due to our high level of flexibility and productivity in our production processes, we can offer small, medium and large production runs at cost-effective prices. This is possible due to the Group synergetic effects involved in the areas of purchasing, technical development and customer care.
